Germany
In May, 2008, the German economic magazine ‘brand eins’ features a profile article on Kessels & Smit, The Learning Company. Inspired by this portrait, Maren Hessler and Marcus Splitt seek contact. This leads to mutual enthusiasm for cooperation. And in the summer of 2008 the three start up Kessels & Smit, Germany.
The consultants work in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Individual, organisational and societal change processes are at the core of their activities. They regard crises, shortage and growth as opportunities for creating powerful learning processes with their clients. To this end, they use different techniques, such as process facilitation, workshops and systemic coaching.
Strong driver for their work is the conviction that a pro-active and responsible way of dealing with the questions that arrive from crises and growth will lead to crucial advantages on competitors. An appreciative perspective on the ‘human resources’ in the organisation leads to efficiency on all levels. Which is why the consultants work on (as brand eins puts it) ‘the re-introduction of the people in the organisation’.
The consultants are based in different cities: Frankfurt am Main and Berlin.
