In 2009 Andres Roberts met with Arne Gillert. Andres was running a niche company in the United Kingdom called Eudemonic – dedicated to developing creative approaches to change, learning and innovation.
Through a period of months, a common interest around play and creativity developed into exciting conversations around partnership. By the summer of 2010 a vision had emerged to build on Eudemonic’s work and extend Kessels & Smit into the UK. It didn’t take long to take a first step in setting up Kessels & Smit The Learning Company in London.
Kessels & Smit UK builds on an inspiring track record for innovation and impact working with a range of organisations and sectors. By joining up with other Kessels & Smit offices, Kessels & Smit UK brings a richer pool of knowledge, understanding and passion to making learning and change happen.
Recent UK projects include a peer-learning programme for social entrepreneurs; facilitation of strategic planning sessions for a national third sector consortium; workshops to support innovation capability in councils and a research project exploring the collaborative wisdom of communities.
